Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a waitlist and, at launch, a training app. No ads. No selling or sharing data for advertising. No tracking cookies — this site runs cookieless analytics, which is why there's no cookie banner. The data controller isSavvy Advice Ltd (registered in England and Wales). Contact:support@clickerpup.app.
1. What we collect on this website
| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your email (waitlist) | To email you when ClickerPup launches; anything before that will be rare and one tap to unsubscribe | Loops (our email service) |
| "How did you hear about us?" (optional) | To learn which channels actually reach puppy owners | Loops + our analytics (with your email's domain only, never the full address) |
| Anonymous usage analytics | Page views, button clicks, and the campaign tags on the link you arrived from | PostHog, hosted in the EU, in cookieless mode (nothing stored on your device) |
| Contact form messages | To reply to you | Our support inbox |
| Standard server logs | Security and abuse prevention | Cloudflare (our host) |
2. What the app will collect (effective at launch)
When the iOS app ships, it adds:
- Your account — created with Sign in with Apple (via our auth provider, Clerk). You can hide your real email using Apple's relay.
- Your dog's profile and training history — breed, age, session results, skill progress — stored with our database provider (Convex) and used to build and adapt the training plan. This is the product; it's never sold or used for advertising.
- Coaching generation — the context needed to write your session coaching (your dog's profile and recent training results) is processed by our AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate the coaching text. Under our API agreements this data is not used to train their models.
- Subscriptions — handled by Apple and RevenueCat (our subscription manager). We never see your card details; we receive transaction status (trial started, renewed, cancelled) so the app knows what you've bought.
- Product analytics and crash reports — PostHog (EU) and Sentry, to fix what's broken and see which features help. The app's App Store privacy label will match this policy.
3. Legal bases and retention
We rely on consent for the waitlist and marketing email (withdraw any time), contract for running the app for you, and legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and minimal analytics. Waitlist data is kept until launch and then for up to 12 months unless you're a user or ask us to delete it sooner. App data is kept while your account is active and deleted on account deletion, minus what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
4. Your rights
Wherever you live, we honor requests to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict processing — emailsupport@clickerpup.app and we'll act on it. UK/EU residents can also complain to their data-protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). California residents: we don't sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we don't use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Children
ClickerPup is for puppy owners, not children — the site and app aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
6. International transfers
Analytics is EU-hosted. Some providers (for example, our email, database, AI, and subscription providers) process data in the United States; where they do, transfers are covered by recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy framework.
7. Changes
We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes, and tell you directly (email or in-app) about any change that meaningfully affects your data.
8. Contact
