About ClickerPup

ClickerPup is a clicker-training coach for first-time puppy owners. You tell it about the puppy on your floor — breed, age, what they already know — and it plans one short, reward-based session at a time, then adapts the next one to how it actually went. The first win is designed to happen in your first session: charge the clicker, teach a hand target, and watch your puppy choose to offer it back.

The method

Everything is built on Karen Pryor's clicker method and aligned with IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants) and AVSAB (American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior) positive-reinforcement positions: force-free, reward-based, no corrections, no fear, no dominance theory. The training content is curated and review-gated by a human — the AI personalizes and explains; it doesn't invent training advice. When it spots signs that need a vet or a certified behavior professional, it says so and points you there instead of coaching through it.

The honesty thing

Puppy apps have a billing-trap reputation problem. We're building the opposite, on purpose: the clicker is free forever, the full price is shown before you start, you get a reminder before a trial converts, and cancelling takes about 30 seconds in your Apple account settings. If ClickerPup isn't right for your dog, we'd rather tell you than bill you.

Who's building it

ClickerPup is built by Savvy Advice Ltd, an independent studio — one founder, one illustrated mascot, and a stubborn belief that training your own dog should feel like winning, not homework. TheLearn library is free to everyone, cited on every page, whether you ever install the app or not.
